virus question

i belive i have the sasser virus because it keeps restarting my computer and reffering to lsass.exe. but when i d/l the sasser removal tool it doesnt find it. so any other ideas what it could be?

run a virus scan?? housecall.trendmicro.com is an online one.. if you can get through the whole thing without your machine rebooitng.

well when i was trying to get my dsl up a tech called me to tell me that my dsl should be working so i said ok and she gave me a command "shutdown -a" and that keeps it from rebooting. well when i couldnt find the virus she was like ohh u need to talk to one of our other techs and they will tell u exactly what to do and i was like this bitch is gonna "punt" me and sure enought she did she gave me the phone number to microsoft. i was not about to pay for help so i accidently saw something and it gave me the link to m.s to remove it.
