Was on the track today :D

Had a black basically stock looking something beside me. He had a pillar pod and that was about it. Light turned and we took off easy outta first gear. Second came and we got into it....... Next thing i hear was the blow off valve coming outta this thing and he is hanging with me, third comes and i grind it a tad but get a jump on him and ever so slighty start pulling on him, he lets off and so do i.


Caught him at the end of the track :D and asked him whats in that thing, says a turbo. Complimented him on it as for me atleast it was quick. Said thanks and drove off. No attitude, no cutting in and out and no flyby..... they do exsist lol.....

hehe because it wasn't a ricer. unfortunately many of the true import people and there 13second and under cars stay in the garage mostly.

heheh yeah i guess that could be right. Is the first time i have ever seen a fast import, aside from the TT cars that come factory. Even at that i have seen something like 3 of those in the 5 years i have been in texas. Amazed me after we hit 2nd gear how quickly that little engine built speed. Not to say i am fast - im not by any means, but sure makes me wonder how scary a V8 would be running the same boost with a turbo. :eek:

Yeah, thats what i was told too and never believed it. People we are staying with have a son and he is into the import scene and kept telling me that theres fast ones running around. I kept looking and never seeing. Good to see it tho, makes the other 99 flybys worth the adrenaline rush when you glance over and see an import hanging out with you and you got no more pedal.
