My 350Z runs good but is probably only an 8.8-8.9 car at the drag strip. Now if I knew how to drive it would be pretty quick on a road course.

Mine was normally always running but then I sold the car as a roller. I have been lazy lately and have not finished putting everything together in the new car.

My '90 LX 5.0 hatchback is a daily driver, but never taken to the track. It has MSD 6AL ingntion, MSD Blaster 3 coil, Auto Meter gauges, sub-frame connectors, 1.6 roller rocker arms, 70 MM Mass air, MAC Cold air induction, the air silencer/smog equipment removed, long tube headers, o/r h-pipe, 2 chamber flowmasters w/ dumps, and a rebuilt AOD with stall converter, shift kit, transmission cooler, and better bands as its limited Modifications for now. I plan to add an "E" cam, 70MM Throttle body/70MM EGR Spacer, trick flow intake, better heads, gears (along with the rear-end and traction-lok rebuilt), either 125 shot of NOS or a smaller single turbo, and a lot of suspension upgrades in the near future. I plan for it to be a slow drag car (relatively speaking), somewhere in the 11.5-12.5 range in the quarter mile, and a car to take to the road course to turn some corners on too. Kind of a good all around car, and one that is not specific to one type of racing. I know it will not be the best drag or road race car as a result, but still a fun daily driver with the occasional trip to the tracks. :D Who knows you may see me in the white hatch at Redline or Denton soon, even though it will be slow and not be able to hook-up. :cool:

I know my slowest car the blue import runs low 8s and will run high 7s if I turn up the boost a little and drive it like I want it to break "Again!"

Been building on mine since first of Dec. last year. Body is finished. Now to decide on motor and tranny. Tranny is probably going to be a built C6 and the motor is somekind of FE. Still looking at combo's. Will be race only, no street use.

Couldn't drink enough to make me think I could run in the 7's and I sure couldn't drink enough to get it to either.

Got a 1969 Mach 1 that I need to restore one day. It has a 351 Cleveland in it. Think it would make a lot more power with a stroked 351 small block. The FE can make a lot of power but parts are expensive and hard to find. Unless you have a side oiler block around they are also prone to frequent failure under race conditions.

I wish I could have enough sense to let the motor break in and not blow my shit up on some slow ass vette but then again he wanted it and he got it but then again I got it to by blowing both head gaskets and losing my rings on a two day old motor. Can you say stupidddddddddddddd.
