first detail after getting it back.

I'm finally going to detail the truck for the first time after getting it out of the shop. For those of you that don't know, I had a fiberglass ram air hood, both front fenders, roof, and 2 doors repainted, also had the rest of the entire truck wet sanded to get rid of some of the orange peel. Since getting it back, a little over a month ago, I've only washed it off at the car wash twice. I've decided to go with Meguire's products. My question is this. Should I clay bar the truck first? I'm not sure how soon contaminents can get lodged into the surface. Thanks.

I'll be washing it tonight. Hopefully when i run my hands over it, it won't feel gritty.
