Well the first day of football started today. The conditioning stages that lead up to the season...
I've never been so dead in my life...
They hired about 6 strength and speed coaches to work with us to get us ready. I never thought on the first day they would throw us in the squat rack doing 3X10 @ 70% (which is about 315 for me). Bench wasn't so bad, same set, same percentage, 245 on the bar. We did a bunch of auxiliary stuff inbetween that as well. And if our legs and arms weren't dead enough we ran 15 40's... It's only day 1! We still have 22 more workouts before we stick the pads on! Anyone else workin out like this everyday?
