Does anyone fiberglass boxes in here or know who would build and fiberglass one cheap.
Have a 93 Mustang GT
Would like two 12" Rockford Fosgate Powers or Punch 3's
Also would like to mount a Bottle in the back too.
Kinda hard to explain but will try to tell you what I want.
A box sloping down from the top of the back seats, with the Speakers on each side Kinda pointing in at each other slightly and then facing the glass. Then I want the Corners of each side of the box to come down to a point to the back of the hatch. Want the NOS Bottle (Future Plan) to sit in the middle of the two subs down the middle of the Fiberglass box. Will try to draw a picture or try to find one of a car to give you guys an idea.
Also Might put a battery relocate kit back there.
Coulds someone Give me some prices on what this would cost.
Maybe draw up some other ideas.

I know someone who does custom Fiberglass work but it isn't cheap by no meens.. just the materials will cost you a few hundred bucks.. Then you have to figure out if you wanted the box painted if so they use car paint then it has to look perfect.. Has to be sanded very fine... Just a hole bunch of work that not to many people would want to do... I can build them but I wouldn't want to.. It is a pain in the ass to work with... Plus it is very heavy once finished....
who are you talking about Dan?

Well I'm talking to the person that wrote this thread but I'm talking about Steve building boxes.. I wouldn't do anykind of fiberglass for punch speakers anyway that would be a waist of time...
i agree and that's who i figured you were talking about. I don't think he would want to take on this job to begin with unless this guy was going to pony up some cash...He retired after my car.

I figured that anyway.. He would still do some things but nothing major anymore... From all the fiberglass boxed that we have made I wouldn't care if I ever seen one again....
just from doing mine and Freddy's I really don't care to do another one.

i'll sell you a Sledgehammer box, with two MTX 9500s in it, that will make that sound like a nine year old banging pots together.

still whatever way you look at it, it's a square pre fab box...I could make something look so much better with just a few angles and build it to the specs of the sub and amp, and make it fit into the car as if it was meant to be there.

thank you captain obvious, however my point was, that if he liked that fosgate box, he could get MUCH better subs in a similar albeit less gaudy box.
WHAT, you can make boxes to fit each individual car! I'm Flabbergasted.
