How do I program this fob?

Hey Skip---
You'll never remember me , but I did meet you once w/ my son.
I have an 01stang gt-- no owners manual--an additional fob I need to reprogram to use with my car.

How to do it???

stick the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position 8 or 9 times(until doors locks go up and down) then hit the lock buttons on each of the fobs....it should work, if not lemme know

well, it didn't work for me or hubby.....................

any other suggestions?

did the locks ever go up and down....also once you mess it i think to only way to restart the process is to crank the car....you have to do it pretty fast....where do you guys live

oh yes, the locks went up/down then we retried a few times and they still went up/d but it didn't set it

may the battery is bad in the fob or its for a different model....take it by 5 star and have skip help you out....

it was my son's from his 02 Mustang
