I've been going to the gym regularly since February of 03 and have kept a very consistent schedule.

Everything has been progressing very well except my abs, or an isolated section of them. The problem is that around the perimeter and horizontally they are fairly well defined, it's just the vertical center line that I'm having a hard time obtaining.

What gives? Is there a way to isolate this particular section or to stimulate it better?

Thanks:cool:

Knock your body fat down a little more and it'll show up.

Yeah, I've been trying to modify my eating habits. Usually I eat A LOT. But now, when I 'feel' hungry I wait a little while and if it goes away then all is good, if not, then I eat. Just had a feeling that maybe I was over feeding myself. Since this the cuts I do have, have started to show up a little more.

BTW- Thanks Jedi!

What do I do for abs?

I do crunches with weight behind my head (4x25) alternating with feet on the floor and feet off the floor for each set. When I have a spot I'll use the medicine.

I also do about 50 leg raises with legs straight.

There are also two machines I use that I do not know the name of, so I'll describe them :p.

With one, you sit with your chest up against a pad and you set the angle to which you rotate your mid section to lift the weight.. The other is basically a sit up machine.

Man, how long between meals when you are doing the "skip when hungry" method here? If you are going more than like 3 hours and you skip when hungry then you might be sacrificing some muscle for protein. Might want to throw down a Proten shake with low carb or something at that point to stop the catabolism that might be happening. Just a thought.

Got a body fat reading lately? That would tell ya if you need to loose more or work more on building those up in order to show.

And remember what you paid for this advice.

thanks,
Todd

Well, its not exactly skipping when hungry. Its more or less that I'll be sitting around the house with nothing to do. Almost like I'm hungry just because I don't have my mind on anything else, you know?
