Business for Sale

I will consider placing someone on this route as a sub-contractor. Pay structure will be as follows, sub-contractor will pay me $100 per day for use of the truck and contract, plus 35% of any amount over $1100 a week.

From 1-1-04 to 5-28-04 this route has generated over $30,000 in settlement checks.

I own a route with an international company. I can't post the name here, but it is not UPS, it is the other one.

>GREAT, CONTRACTED area (Route is currently doing over 100 stops a day!!! )

>With current volume, settlement checks are in excess of $1100 a week. Volume will increase ALOT during the Christmas season.

>Training will be provided.

Route is in Southlake.
Pay is based on stops/packages, $1.14/$0.22, right now there are 100+ stops a day and 120 plus packages a day.
There is a core zone payment of aprox. $60 a day.
There is also a van availability payment of $25 a day.
There is a fuel supplement that is paid also, the last pay period included $54 fuel supplement for the week.
There are bonuses available based on percent of delivered packages ($600/year).

It is a physically demanding job, but you can honestly have checks in excess of $1000/week average.

Last year, at Christmas, the current driver had some checks in excess of $1600.00 for one week.

Weekly statements from the start of the business will be shown to potential buyers, all above numbers will be confirmed.

Price $45K for route.

Financing is available.

Back ground check, drug test and driving test required by parent company. Must be at least 21 years old w/clean driving record.

R.O.I. (return on investment) is very good. Business brokers have valued the route in excess of $85,000.00.

I have alway's wondered about these kind of bussiness. Do you need a whole fleet of trucks or anything to get started?

You only have to have one truck.

My one truck has produced over $30K since 1-1-4.

If someone was to buy this route they would need a truck. I have one that can be used or they could get their own.

Is this a full time route?

Reason I ask is because I currently am a PM Courier for Fedex Express, and the lack of hours is killing me, im averaging 4 hours a night and thats not cutting it. Im also the Dangerous Goods Specialist, got certified, but thats not helping the pocketbook any. Let me know the "average" hours per day, as I may be interested in jumping ship over to Ground..............shoot me a PM if you dont mind...........

also, why are you selling a profitable route?

I would say about 8-9 hours a day is average.
Many more during peak.

I am selling the route for several reasons:

I was hurt (dis-located ankle) and can no longer service the route.
I hired a driver, but he is going to open his own business.
I am still looking to move to San Antonio when my house sells.
