For all you Lewisville people looking for a job. The new Costco should be opening in late August (26 I believe?). But they are hiring a lot of people. You probably won't get management unless you have a lot of experience (they hire from within). You don't need any experience to work as a Front End Asst. That's what I do and you're pretty much a cart hauler/bagger for 90 days and then can move to any position that is open. The pay starts at $10/hr, $15/on Sundays/overtime, for that job and you get a $0.25 raise after the 90 days. Other positions might pay more, not too sure. The Southlake location I think is still hiring a few people as well since we're losing a few to the new Lewisville location.

Hope this helps out some of you, especially college kids like me since they tend to hire college kids more than anyone else. They won't hire you if you can't work at least 25 hours a week.

Yea, as far as I know they are still hiring if you match what they are looking for since a lot of people are moving around. The only way to apply is to go in and get the application. If you go to the Southlake one, make sure you talk to Rich about the job and let him know that you are interested.

Well, they really want people that match this:

College Students (they love hiring college students)
Open Availibility is a plus!
Any experience (stocking, cashiering, photo, etc.)
No visible tattoos, if you have them they won't hire you

If you fit all four, your chances are the best. But by no means are you not going to be considered if you don't meet all of them. The reason they like college students so much is that when you finish college you'll have plenty of experience and could possibly making $50,000 and upwards. You'll top out cashiering around $17/hour (or any other job on the front end) or so, which means you'll be making an assload.

They'll give you a long ass speech which will make it seem like if you drop out of college at that moment you'll be set for life. And in that speech they tell you almost everything you need to know about the job. Thy keep pitching the fact that it is very busy, which it is. If you work Friday, Monday, Saturday or Sunday you'll be running and sweating like crazy the entire day. Trust me, I just got off and today was hectic.

Hope that helps you out somewhat. If you have any other questions, post back up or send me a PM. I'll try and help you out as much as I can.

They've got everything. Just go up there and talk with Rich. I'd say go around 3:30 to 4:30 since it's not quite as busy and ask about the different openings. And North Richland Hills is right next to Southlake. I used to work at Five Star Ford in NRH, and from my house to Five Star was about a 20 minutes drive. So, to Costco, it'd probably be 30 minutes at most.

Tisk tisk tisk. We really could've used you at 5 star this summer Scat. Remember when they had us "working" at the bottom of the hill? That freakin rocked.

I just noticed your sig. You bought a cobra?! Come by one day and show it off to me! We can run em' if you'd like.

By "working" do you mean hanging out at the bottom watching TV in my Escalade? LOL. Good times, but I hated that job. I was absolutely miserable everyday I had to go there. Not to mention I'm getting $10/hour, $15 on Sundays at Costco compared to the shitty $7.25/hour plus bullshit from Stephen and the other fuckers up there. But, I'm probably going to quit Costco and start working for Hunt Oil in downtown Dallas soon...

I might swing by sometime. When do you work now?
