The 760mp inst a bad unit at all.IF the box is ported it should make that much of a diffrence in my mind but ive not had alot of exp. with a free air sub. What is the killer deal that your getting for the deck?If the subs are in a sealed box and you needed another box built pm me.What kinda car is this going in?

Sick. the deck is costing me around $180 brand new.
The subs are in a sealed box, but the subs, box and amp are free.. they are going into a 98 toyota supra.. i am on a very very limited budget so if anything new is required to be built i would most likely have to do it myself as i spent all my cashola on the deck.

Well if your looking to build your ported box go to www.ddaudio.com it has some good info and build sheets that will get you in the ball park. But if the subs and amp are free then I wouldnt worry about it too much.Have fun with your system.

If you're getting the head unit brand new, take it. That's a very good deal, a buddy of mine paid $240 for his and that was a good deal. Why don't you own it yet?:D

free air subs are designed for large sealed enclosures, and will be nowhere near optimal in a ported box.

what subs are they?

good head unit, especially for the price.

they are PIONEER IMPP 10s. I dont remember what model they are but i can pull then out of the box and check. I also have a pioneer amp to push them. I will get all the specs and post them up. I am n a very tight budget.. so i couldnt say no to a free pair of subs and an amp..:)

Yeah, large like the entire trunk on a Delta88. Those woofers do not belong in an enclosure. They belong on a baffle board. I would choose a different woofer. Just my 2 cents.
