well, after friday my puchase with 5 star will be completed ( having an alarm installed there)..
This is the second car i have bought from them and the 10th or 11th car i have bought in the last 9 years.
I have Never EVER in the past returned to the same dealership before, mostly owing to disatisfaction ( besides sewell on the purchase of my 00 TRans am )
Some history.
in Feb 03 i traded in my 98 infiniti I30 for an 03 F150 XLT 4.6 V8 truck. I came in wanting a used truck, and skip got me into a new truck for a minimal difference in payment. No hidden fee.. not sneaky tactics.. just striaght up cut and dry good business.
The truck was not 100% what my wife wanted, but it was by far the best we could afford.
Fast forward to last week. I got the itch again. After owning my truck for a year.. and not having a single problem, i decided to see what i could do about a new car for the wife.
Well .. it took 1/2 a day over IM with skip. and it was pretty much a done deal. Took my wife from a cloth interior 4.6 XLT to a 4x4 fully loaded leather equiped FX4 04 f150 with the 5.4 V8. The sales transaction was smooth and flawless. Dealing with Skip and Steve was great. it was in and out. No haggling.. not arguing.. no going back and forth. Also, for the 2nd time in a row i witness skipped go above and beyond to get as much for my trade in as possible.
my buying satisfaction was 5/5
satisfaction with the sales person: 5/5
satisfaction with skip : 5/5
satisfaction with teh car : 5/5
over all : 10/5
I know that when i get tired of this truck.. i will be going BACK to skip at 5 star for my next truck.
