Hey stereo guru's...

I have a new Kenwood deck in my boat with a Fosgate 300W amp driving a 12" Fosgate sub. It took a dump this weekend. I thought the amp got wet and bought a new one, still no worky.

Is there a way to verify the deck is outputting through the RCA's aside from trying the amp on a different deck (of which I don't have).

Its down to the deck or speaker itself....any help is appreciatted!

You can use a set of headphones with RCA ends on them to hear output from the deck RCAs.

get a volt meter and check them.. Put the positive end in the Jack and the neg on the outside.. and turn up the volume you should get the out put voltage of the radio... Depending on the radio's output but it should be somewhere around 4-5 Volts DC...

Voltage on the RCAs will be AC.
