I'm so sick of the local stations and would like to have an XM setup installed in my truck. It has the factory radio. Is this possible without upgrading to a different head unit?
You can always use an FM modulator with it or there may be other options depending on what kind of truck you have. I know there is an adapter for GM's with the indash changer and Sirius.
What BP said. You can use an XM commander and FM modulate it into your factory deck. It also has RCA output so you can get a better signal if you change decks later. Kenwood has Sirius ready decks for $150. Sirius brain is free and antenna is $60. How many do you want?

All I need is one. I'd like to have a couple of hundred watts on some seperates and another 300 on a sub but that ain't gonna happen.
Whats the subscription costs with XM radio?
The monthly fee varies depending upon how you want to pay. Monthly, XM is $9.99 and Sirius is $12.95. However, if you pay for longer terms, both get less expensive.
