Another new "best" and some more broken Sh*t.

Well a spur of the moment decision.. we decide to go to Denton. First pass off of the trailor and it goes

6.44@108.5 with a spinning 1.50 60ft.

Next pass.. Not good.. converter got hot (Now I realize the converter is the problem) 6.65@103

Third pass.. I do the burnout.. I get ready to stage..and I notice a 2 ft. square puddle of water on the line.. and the starting line attendant just standing there waving me into the beams...I finally directed his attention to the lake on the line.. so he unwillingly drags a mop over to clean it up.. I stage and crowd towards the RH side of the track as far as I could.. I leave with a 1.46 60ft.. which is average for my car and this tuneup... I get to about 500 ft. and the car takes a severe lunge towards the center line.. I let off quickly and gained control.. I guess the car that the water came out of got some on the big end too..

Now I have come to realize that my converter is most of my transmission problems all along.. at least it is not burned up again.. I just have to get the converter checked out..

Oh Did I mention that one of the turbos sucked of something and has a chipped up compressor wheel?

Your dad made a comment last night when you raced that black Chevy II with the nitrous. He made a loud comment about nitrous cars....I asked him if he wanted to race another nitrous car but he walked off. Tell him to be careful what he says when he talks out loud. you n ever know who's listening...Im always up for a little nirous to blower action...;)

Well.. as luck would have it.. It was my own fault that caused the compressor wheel to get beat up.. my turnsignal that is not in the car has the socket dangling down under the facia..

... well the turbo found that socket. :eek:

Thanks.. It is a fairly new combo and I expected some problems.. but dammmmmn.. this takes the cake. :eek:

Thats my dad:D , the reason he just walk off is cause he didn't hear you ( bad hearing from working on aars and airplanes) He really isn't a nitrous fan, but I have respect for the guys that knows what they are doing. I'm always up for a race, but we already know what the outcome would be :( Me looking at some tailights:eek:

Well, its a street car. :) Andrew has kinda left the building. Andy would race him. But he cant find a race. No one wants to race them. They are "Crybabies" LOL Cuz its there fault they dominate with what they have over tube chassis cars.
