I won TTT5 True Street tonight Kdale

I managed to win a Texas True Ten 5 True street class tonight!

I was going quicker during time trials with smaller pills but even though th 28x11.5 ET streets were skating I managed a poor 6.49 to a 6.51 first round blowing the tires off out of the hole.

2nd round went a 6.247 @ 113.37 skating but didnt hit it until 100 feet He was sleeping he went 6.238 @ 113.35 but .146 to his .322 was all I needed.

Then FInal round Casey Braswell was running 6.0s all night went a 6.01 round before so I left it pilled up and did a monster burnout hoping to hook. Unfortuanatly Casey blew his motor in burnout so I got the cpmpetition by.
I gave the crowed what I could went 6.240 @ 113.35 spinning the whole track! But hey everything worked I got the tune more or less right now I gotta work on the suspension again!


But she stayed sonsistent for the night so I am one happy Fucker!

I did manage to run a quicker 6.14 and a 6.19 with a smaller shot in tie trials but I wanted a 5! So I tried.

Wow, man congrats!! BTW, how much did it pay(if anything) to win that? Your car seems to be running great. I'm sure you will get your 5 pretty soon. I wish my motor wouldn't have taken a shit we could have been a good match race.

ST, did you have any problems with your fogger system? Seems like Joe Golden on Hotrodgossip has found a serious problem with fogger nozzles made since Holley bought NOS. The N2O side leaks over to the fuel side, presssurizes it, and cuts off the fuel flow, a lot of FAST nitrous cars have been melting pistons due to this and the estimate is that over 10,000 of these nozzles got out before the error was found.

Thanks Lee it was all kinds of fun for once I wasnt trying to figure out ahy the juice wasnt working just trying to go faster hehe!

It doesn't feel as fast when it is skating as it does when it is hooked hard but it is still a great ride. Wouldnt trade it for anything!

Yes Casey is a great friend and I think he would have beat me had he not broke. He blew the motor to peices in the burn out.

I surely hope he can get another motor like that one together quick I dont want to see him miss any races. I hate winning like that I want to lose trying or win racing but I will take the paycheck either way! Gotta buy parts you know.

I never lift unless something is wrong I want to run the car If something breaks its part of the game to me but I feel the crowed deserves the best show I can give as well as I wanted to try and see what would happen with that JF burnout lol.

We should line 'em up in a couple of weeks.. I have to go back to the dyno after I change the exhaust housings..and I need a couple more tenths to hang with ya..:)

It ususally go 6.79-6.80's @105-106mph. Maybe it was the weather, but I don't think it could matter that much.

No, I bought my system used(with only a few passes on it), but the system was the older version. I didn't get enough passes out of it to find out if it had any problems though.haha...eeerrr:(

I have 1 7/8 Step to 2" to 3 1/2' Stahl Headers 3 1/2" pipes to mandrel bent Xpipe and 3 1/2" in out Dynomax Ultra Flows and turn downs. The Muffler are the Oval Ultra flows not the bullets or rounds.

Thanks, They forgot the trophies from the last race. They should have them at Denton this Saturday. I hope I will have my traction issues settled and at least post some 6.0s be reall happy with some 5.9s but baby steps now! I have something working and don't want to make too many changes too fast and lose what I have it is ompetative just needs a little more to run with the top dawgs.

Can't depend on Casey Braswell, UNC Gear, or Roy Spencer just breaking or driving bad every time I gotta race one of them! lol
Those are the 5.9-6.0 cars the rest f us are the 6.1-6.3 cars we gotta step up a little more.

Besides to beat them in a race is the real fun!

No he don't even own that car anymore. He sold about a year or more ago.
