I have a friend that has a 70 chevelle SS with a .030 over 454 in it. He has cast heads......fairly decent flowing...could be alot better , a comp cam some where in the .550 lift area and a knock off victor jr intake with a holley pro series carb (950). He was on street tires and I was on my nittos. Bottom line is that I had a couple of tenths on him till the last run and I only out did him by .020. Naturally if he would put slicks on.........he would put it on me. I have got to figure a way to get this car to pull on top end.

Big aluminum ported heads, single plane intake, solid roller cam.

Ok........Let me clarify. I need to find away to do it in an economical way. Like new cam. I have aluminum heads.......not the best in the world (holley) but should do the job. My cam is a 235-240 @ .050 with a whopping .490 lift on a 112 ls. Right now I am leaning towards the Nitrous. Child support payments are about to kick in so I am on a budget;)

Oh........I did smooth out the intake and exhaust runners on the head. I opened the entry point of the intake runners almost a 1/4" to match the intake runners. But the intake runners closer to the valves are not opened up..........just polished a little

n2o would be the cheapest for sure. as long as you only spray it at the track.

Hey B I've got some lil ol' NOS Powershot solenoids for sell. They ought to give you that little bit of an edge you are looking for. Not to mention it will keep people from talking you into pilling it way up.

I know someone selling a complete system, with the big silinoids, completely adjustable so you can grow into a more powerful shot.

I wanted to go with a 100 wet shot. But maybe graduate to the 150 shot. Definately don't want to go any higer. Whatcha got and how much? Naturally it would have to be a carb set up
