A whole lotta material to build a set of turbo headers for one 93Z :D :D

I didn't think the day would ever come....the Z is finally coming together after 10 years.

A turned around shorty header doe not a turbo fabricator make :D

I can't just grab some old BBK's and flip them around, I actually have to make my system. This is the last major stepping stone to 1000rwhp sucka!

BTW, how is your virtual car project coming along?

Also, remember Chris. A TIG welder does not a turbo kit make.

Hey, nothing against your Mig Welded, flip-flopped header turbo system. They work really good...just not what I want on my car.

Why mig when you can tig?

I am still on track to have it running this year. It may even be driveable this year.

Ya know, I was going to buy a muzzy header and have Kirk Mig weld a T3 flange on for my turbobusa, but then I woke up from that turd weld infested nightmare I had and realized it was ok, I didnt let Kirk work on my bike.....

I wish!! I gotta come up near the valve cover, like kooks does some of his 5.0 turbo headers. The turbo is mounted low, and the downpipe snakes it way past the passenger motormount. I have a full 4 inch downpipe running from the turbo back, with 1 3/4 inch primarys and a 2.5 inch crossover. I already have the turbo mounted and the downpipe built, just gotta finish the headers.

If you had asked me to work on it, it would have been running 18 months ago. Give and take I guess. Bling, bling and 4 years down time or ass bustin horsepower today. You already know which way I chose.Originally posted by Cmarsh93z

Chris Yea, I've seen LT1 headers, they are a nasty bundle of "why did they build them that way?"

Hmmmm, turd mig welds and a gob of a header that probably would lose so much charge energy that my turbo wouldnt spool, or a tig welded stainless masterpiece of art work that has so much charge energy Im making everybody busting HP! Its all good, Ive seen andrews engine compartment, and youve seen pics of my bike!

nick, how does kirks "gob of a header" lose any exhaust velocity or transfer enough heat to lose its heat capacity?? most of his shit is coated. thats thermally efficient and his tubing isn't overzealous.

BTW, nice bike. do you have a car yet?
