Is there more than one type of stereo wiring harness for an 87 LX hatch? I recently bought a wiring harness but the speaker harness is not even close to what is in the car. Thanks.

Should be two flat plugs, one black, one gray.

That's what came in the harness kit but my car has only a flat black harness and then several other gray harnesses of different sizes all with two rows of pins. Everything looks factory.

The flat gray plug should be near the left side of the glovebox but it will not have all three pair of speakerwires in that plug.
