the dyno before Fri. nights problems

We had the cobra on the dyno before going to Ennis Friday. With a little tuning she was pulling clean. After the dyno we put on a brand new set of slicks. Thanks to the guys at speedworks for staying a little late for us.
With 24 psi it was putting down 1k+. We were hoping for a new best. Unfortunately we had a vaccum line to the wastegate melt and it made over 40psi of boost. I'm sure it had some insane cylinder pressures trying to blow the heads off.

I do remember somebody, telling you guys not to use the rubber lines on the wastegate. Hum.....I wonder who that could have been. :cool:

40psi of boost? Wasn't that your target boost range? ;) I'm sure you had a tad bit of cyl pressure at that point if the heads were still attached to the block.:p
