I guess the LS1 types don't like me. The yellow Vette and the Black T/A Moncused me. 76 mile round trip and they don't show? I invited David Z28 out as well and he didn't show either. LOL! No surprise there.
My exhaust came off of my down pipe in the quick 8 finals and I picked up some serious MPH. Looks like I'm going to fab up a cut out for next time. I got runner up in quick 8. :D
This is last time I go to Spindale for a while. To far and getting out of that place after close is hellish! So if either of you boys want to race me it will have to be at Denton on a Saturday night. Preferably on a KOTH night when the track is hookin.

A single 3" isn't enough for that setup, it's holding you back.

I think I saw a yellow Vette parked outside the gates..... looked like he was scared to come in?
I dunno.....
Congrats on runner up in the 8 though !

It dont matter anyways....You didnt have enough to cover him and his et by .2 even on a sunday. ;)
When I called him he had forgot about the race and was at the grocery store getting things for something. It wont matter much to him that he didnt go since there was no money involved. We all know that Crawfish doesnt run for money :)

A little tweak of the boost controller to get the boost back up to where he would normally run and he'd be able to cover darren. Think he was showing all his cards?

Does it even matter....Both parties can turn it up...But stock mustang blocks will only hold so much. Darren on the other hand has everything ready to take it up another notch and beyond what kirk can do.
Mike
has Kirk more than covered too but Kirk dont run for money :(

Man to be honest I did completely forget. Mike did call me around 5 to remind me, and I was at the grocery store:(
I normally do go 4 times a week. I just completely did not remember our race.
To make it up to you though I will come out to Denton on a day of your choice:) Sorry you had to make that trip. There is no reason why I would not run you....especially since I have put down a faster time:p
When is Denton open? Is it open during the week anytime for test and tune? I am going to HRP on Friday this week if you want to caravan:)
So I should be back on Saturday if you can only run on the weekends. (Given that we can't find a time during the week).
Since I fell through on my end, I will let you pick the track:)

I'll pick a KOTH or TTT5 Saturday night at Denton and let you and BeenFelchedLately know. I'll make sure and ask Mikey to call you every hour starting a couple of days before we race.

You went from a stock H-pipe though didn't you!?? Of course it helped.
You need to make you up some 3" duals.

YOu can make it work. I'm running 3" on HOS and it has awesome ground clearance. You can't even see it from the side. The headers stick down more than anything else.
The chicked noises is funny as hell!

Well, my issue is that I'd have to crossover underneath a deep dish transmission pan. That's where I would run into problems with 3". The 2.5" stuff hangs down low enough for that very reason.

Just put a dump on it and save yourself the weight, cost, and time of a bigger exhaust.
