okay back in 1999 (maybe 2000?), i installed a kenwood receiver (KDC-715s) in my car. it has the d-mask (i think it's called that) where it flips over when the car is turned off, and looks like there is no stereo there...automatically.
about two months ago, i was driving down the road, and it opened up like it would if i were to put a cd in it. just randomly. i had no way to close it seeing as it's automatic.
i turned off the car, and it stayed that way.
the next day, i got in, started my car.. and it attempted to close, but it wouldn't go up all the way, like it didnt have enough power.
so, i don't know how to fix it. i've tried replacing the fuse for the radio. and well, it wasnt that.
any ideas?
it's pretty embarrasing driving around with a baby boom box. hah. i just want my freaking stereo to work :(
thanks!
