I know how to work out pretty hard, but I quit for a while....

Am not in that bad of shape for not having worked out in almost 3 months....

Going back today to start on chest.. should I ease back into it, or say fuck it and hit it hard from the get go?

Last time I went in after some time off, I could still bust off 235 on my last few sets.....(not bad for a 165 lb person....) I was just pretty sore...

I plan to do flat bench, incline bells, some incline flys and maybe some flat dumbells at the end....

Yeah, might as well take it easy, I got time. I'll just kinda ramp up and get in good shape first, then start eating everything in site and working out like a freak. I'm gonna put on some size this winter...

Start slow, taper off....

Seriously - if you would like to be able to move the next
day start slow and find out where you currently are before
trying to move the big plates again.

start with less weight, but more reps...then just work your way up to more weight through the next week or so...

I would start a 6-10 week cycle starting with high reps and high sets...you know a percentage of your max and by the end of the cycle you should be able to do more than your max originally was...worked for me in powerlifting. Go with Sarahlynn's advice.

they are right dont go balls to the wall on your first session training in a while. you will be in pain for a week and maybe injure yourself. take it slow, you have all the time in the world and your body will thank you for it the next day!!!
