How do I change my default media player?

I used to have Window Media Player for everything, and now for some reason, it's switched to QuickTime Player.

I made sure when I installed QuickTime, I didn't select it as my default player, since I'd rather have Windows Media Player. I only downloaded QuickTime since certain things require it.

How do I go about switching back to Window Media Player?

right click on the type of media you want to play in a certain program, select properties and then you can change the program that plays it... you would have to do this with all the different types of media you have, mp3's, mpegs...ect.
