Nothing against anyone posting, but because you are giving him away you are going to get a TON of "I want him". PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! be careful and selective about who gets him. Talk to the person(s) ALOT before you make a decision.

For the simple fact you are giving him away, its easy for someone to say "I want a Pit, heck its free" and they find out later they cant keep him or dont want him after all and he gets given away again. To much bad press about these dogs anyway and I would hate to see another get lost in the shuffle or put down for some stupid reason.
