Why isn't my Image Archive pics working?

Everytime I try and upload a picture...It turns out to be a red x.
All of my pictures in my folder, if you click on them the page comes up as "internal error". Anyone else having troubles like this?
Now my Signature comes up as an X everywhere too...
Anyone help me with this?
do I even have the right forum????
