Fastest List - 1/8 Mile

[Unseen]

A few rules:
1) You must be an active member of DFWStangs with a minimum of 100 posts. To be active requires a minimum posting rate of 100 posts per year.
2) Car must have run that time with in the last year and have the same or similar combo. Cars that run a time and then are dismantled or sold or remain on the jack stand racing team for more than one year will be removed from the list.

Let me know if you find any errors, I have added a few stats, like date it was run. engine size. Please inform me of info where the question marks appear. Also any feed back on rules or the such is welcome also.

If you want to be added or updated please PM your info. I will get to it a lot quicker that way, because I really don't scour this thread looking for new additions and updates very often.

yeah if i would have used the fogger threw the whole run i am sure the car would have gone 5's, but unfortunatly the c4 wouldnt hold so all i could do was launch on the fogger and shut it off the rest of the way...

I was told your engine was completely dismantled and nobody knows when your car will be back together. My motor will be going back together as soon as Edelbrock releases their EFI intake, which should be anytime now. I just don't understand why I was kicked off of the list when my combo isn't going to be drastically changed (other than an intake)and I ran my best time in the month of 11/03.:confused:

Well got a new best still need some tuning the feul pump with the bypass regulator can't keep the NOS fuel pressure above 5 psi byt the far end of the track so changing pumps. But hit the 250 about 20/30 feet out ran it to about 400-450 when it started popping let of juice ranout on motor.

These are DOT CS tires if I were on RS Race Slicks I would already be in the 6.0s/5.9s but we have to use these so I gotta work with them.

I won the TTT5 True Street class tonight at Kdale.

Best 2 passes were test passes.

325 shot hitting juice 40-60 feet out skated some went
1.50 60' 6.192 @ 113.60

Same shot better burn out still skated hit juice about 20 feet out
1.505 60' 6.148 @ 114.67

It was a 200 shot. It was the pass where I raced FastFord19. In the video you can see me get sideways when I hit it.... it was pretty funny. Him pulling the wheels and me spinning and we got pretty close to the same 60foot. He had a 1.52 to my 1.55. But at the top of the track it leaned out a bit and was popping some. shooting flames out the exhaust :eek: That was just my first nitrous pass since I broke the rearend so I didn't hit it off the line. So there is still alot left in it.

So you just pay the $75. up front one time and as long as you qualify you get paid $75. You can't beat that. That pays for gas, food, and nitrous in your case. I have a 16 volt battery on the way so hopefully that solves my voltage issue and the car will start running right. Looking foward to competing with you guys soon.

Well I went to Kdale tonight and made some passes.

Motor run was ok but 60' sucked first pass up 6.61 @ 105.44 1.538 60' oh well.

I ran Unc on motor with his 150lb lighter kid driving he went 6.28 @ 109 to my losing 6.40 @ 107. I got tree by .031 so they had it from tree to finish.

I was happy with all the chages the car usually runs 6.50 right off the trailer then I gotta clear it out and tune a little. But i wasn't there for motor runs I was there to test the new setup for NOS before the first real race.

I pilled it down from 300 to 200 in hopes to not break anything until I was sure all the bugs were gone.

If the two guys that were talking about knocken the red off my car would have shown up we would have found out. I am pretty sure .50s are attainable.

I fiugred on promod night was a good time to use the 10.5 slicks so I could just make sure the NOS was tuned. Running the ET Streets on Promod night might give a false sense of traction. Better to test on the little tires once you have consitent running setup.

This was on a 28x10.5 I haven't find my 5.72 slip, I don't remember the 330 on it. I am about 6 weeks out on my motor. I got in the Jesel rockers this week(1.8s :D ) and ordered pistons on Friday.

A few rules:
1) You must be an active member of DFWStangs with a minimum of 100 posts. To be active requires a minimum posting rate of 100 posts per year.
2) Car must have run that time with in the last year and have the same or similar combo. Cars that run a time and then are dismantled or sold or remain on the jack stand racing team for more than one year will be removed from the list.

Let me know if you find any errors, I have added a few stats, like date it was run. engine size. Please inform me of info where the question marks appear. Also any feed back on rules or the such is welcome also.

If you want to be added or updated please PM your info. I will get to it a lot quicker that way, because I really don't scour this thread looking for new additions and updates very often.

Well I guess I can make the list now. i went to Denton tonight and had a 100hp shot on the car and ran a tire spinning 6.90 @ 99.46mph. This is with the 306 engine C-4 trans. and on race slicks. Should be better with traction.

Finally put the bottle on Christine Saturday at Redline. Ran a 5.69 @ 115 mph with a 1.31 60ft. That's gettin' out and back in at about 30ft and then shutting down little past 3/4 track. She's gonna fly no doubt.
