Bad times!

Well after finally making out to the track yesterday after about a year of not racing I made it to yellow belly (spelling) and ran the stang a couple of times!:o ....times were not what I expected!:mad:
1st run: I ran an impressive 10.1!:rolleyes:
2nd run: 9.1
3rd run 9.0

and after that I decided not to let her run again!:(
I use to run 8.70's-8.80's myself before with less mods than I have now! What gives?....do tire size make a difference? I ran with some 245/45 17 nittos this time and before I was running some 275/45's 17's!...with this small ones this time around..I was spinning my ass off at 3k so I had to take it down to 2.5k! So I think it's a tire problem? Anyone have some feedback on this?

Go to redine, denton or ennis and get some legitimate track times. Look at the 60 foot times and mph to compare to your old runs. Tires make all the difference in the world in 1/8 mile! A tenth difference in the 60 foot will be near 2 tenths in the 1/8 ET. Let me know when you're going to the trackGO TO REDLINE!!!

Hmm..tires might be it..except for that 10.1 cant blame that on hte tires..hehe. If you go out to redline sometime soon let me know, ive been wanting to run mine (never ran it before so my shit should be slow) that way you can look good beating me atleast, lol.

Yep thats a Sunday, It's bracket races and I run in trophy street class. It's during the afternoon too, I despize night time racing humidity sucks.

yello belly sucks azz.....even with a good driver my car was running slow as fock!:mad: ....i'm going to a better track and see what kinda times I get!...couldn't hook for sh*t even on the 275/45 drag radials!:mad: ...my 60 footers were 2.2:rolleyes:
