Didn't get a new best or anything but I made 4 passes and got to drive it home. That's a good night in my book. I ran a 6.5 at close to 106mph on the same setup as a couple of weeks ago. I tried to pill the 2-step up but it pushed through the lights. Just not quite enough brakes to leave any harder than I'm doing right now (low 1.5 sixty foots tonight).

Andrew was punishing the hell out of some drag radails! Cele3 and SLOW 77 were there running pretty good as well. Josh Lindsey ran some 4.90s at 150mph and went out in the semis in KOTH.

I was just spectating. I was with my brother, he has a red Ranger with Extreme Mustang Performance on the tailgate of it. And to tell you the truth I really don't know the names of the people who got in the finals.:(

We learned real quick that removing the anti-roll bar is not a good move...got our nitrous tune sorted out we think....went 110 mph after idling off the line 2.07 60 ft, and then rolling into the throttle!

The mustang crowd showed well tonight!

yep that is a good night to run that quick and still drive it home. I wish I could have been out there. I have never seen the KOTH guys run. But damn they are running fast:eek: .

After many, many moons, I made one nitrous pass and managed to crack into the 5's again. For some reason, my 60' was off a full tenth as I felt it spin off the line (even with VHT, hmmmm) but I am making more power than the old motor so I'd like to think that was the reason. Also, the car didn't make it through the entire pass cleanly so I short shifted at about 7300 rpm.

Finals for KOTH was Rick Thorton's red corvette (Kim Smith driving) vs. Travis Orr ( Pat Edwards driving, I think) with Kim Smith winning in Rick Thortons red 63 vette.

After the finals the porsche ran a 4.64@162 on 10.5W's at legal weight. :)

Yup the vette won KOTH It was nice to see a lot of you out there defenetly plenty of stangs out there. Fastest et I saw andrew run was a 6.06 on the dr I believe. Cele your car was defenetly bad ass out there on the track.

I had a new best of 7.18 on drag radials and 7.12 on et drags @96 mph. Not too bad for pump gas and motor.
