Anyone here have one of these cars? I'm considering buying a 2002 model, an auto rated at 252 hp/280 lbs. torque. I got to take it home for the weekend. It's very very nice, rides great and runs pretty good, nothing spectacular though. I'm thinking probably a mid 15 sec. car. Anyone know what they run in the 1/4?

I have no idea, but man those are some really sweet cars. I say go for it. I got to drive one, real smooth ride and alittle quickness. Plus tons of room in those things.

Got to make a couple of back to back passes at the Motorplex this am Before the Harley Races (I got the hookup):D. The Linc. ran the following.

pass 1:
60' 2.183
330' 6.292
1/8 et 9.688
1/8 mph 72.82
1000' 12.583
1/4 et 15.010
1/4 mph 93.08

pass2:
60' 2.200
330' 6.347
1/8 et 9.740
1/8 mph 72.96
1000' 12.630
1/4 et 15.050
1/4 mph 93.48

Better than what I expected and I think it has potential to go some mid 14's with a couple of mods. I know there is a CAI kit and a couple of catback systems out there for the car. Gains from the 2 combined are supposedly 30 to 35 hp. Apparently, no one has come out with a chip or power programmer for the LS yet.

I think I'm gonna go ahead and get this car. The dealer wants $21k. The only draw back is the mileage, almost 54,000 miles on the odo. However, 90% of those miles are highway miles. The previous owner was in sales and was on the road alot. See ya GT, hello Lincoln.

Not bad for a luxo barge. Doesn't it have a 3.9?

Yes sir. That 3.9 has to take a 3700 lb car & 240 lb fatass down the track!

when your valve cover gaskets start leaking and it intermittently wont start and your transmission goes haywire, gimme a call.
