I saw 6500-7000rpm almost everyweekend for a whole year w/ a PR engine. (Not a DOHC revver). I ran 7.2s, I made 413rwhp,

I beat 350rwhp-500rwhp cars on the hwy during the days inbetween running 7.2s everyweekend.

LS1s are great motors and make a shit load of power...

But they sound like complete ass, (I have heard Civics that sound better) and they come in the ugliest fucken cars on the road, besides Vettes, which are nice but cost too much, plus they can't launch without breaking parts.:(

So a Foxbody with a LS1 would be the coolest car on the planet, look sick, and run like a motha fucka, but, it would still sound like shit...:o

Go with a Turbo on a 5.4 DOHC... the one in 5.0 this month made 731 with 13 psi of a T88...:D

Oh , and yes david, camaros are pretty fuggin ugly. They also have nothing in their styling tying them to the original camaro, which disappoints me. They look even worse than mustangs with their crappy hubcaps and superskinny tires on a fat-bodied car in v6 trim, mustangs dont look quite so portly on such smaller meats.
