I was thinking somewhere between $200-300.

I would think something on the lower end of that range would be fair. A lot of games now are wanting 2g+ cpus but a 1.4 would be plenty for most people that just surf and email.

Maybe offer it that guy with the poll on emachines :)

I didn't really have any problems running any games i.e. Halo, UT2004, but that was with a different video card.

How's is that card? I have the same card, it's pretty good, but I need a better machine to back it up, and some moer ram wouldn't help either!

Do you have any problems running games?

no problems with mine. I have a Dell Optiplex GX150 with 512mb ram pushing mine and running win xp pro.
