How Fast Do You Want Your Car To Be?

Most everyone has a "number" in mind when they start thinking about how fast they want their car to be. So, how fast do you want your car to go? In other words at what point will you be willing to say, "I've met my goals with this car". I think its probably a given that 10 milliseconds after that goal is met another pops into mind. But, what is your immediate goal?

For consistancy, lets stick with 1/8th mile times.

I'm pretty much there with mine but I'd like to have a 6.3 time slip which is the limits of the safety equipment I have on the car now.

I want to run a 6.99 with my cam only LS1 (which i'm close), and once i do that I want to run a 6.49 on a shot no bigger than 150. And still have AC and overdrive:)

5.99 w/ Incon Kit, Et streets, full interior, A/C, and full exaust including cats. Hopefully a cam change will get me there. Haven't expierenced my full potential yet b/c of the fuel problems but that will be done in a week or so. As it sits hoping for 6.10's @114.

Well comparing my car to Chris's and Kirks, ill start off shooting for a 6.99 with the 5 speed in place, and "stock" boost (8#). If it goes auto and I get my fuel system and up the boost, the 6.20 Chris mentioned sounds about right.

I'd like to go 5.50s at 130+ in the 1/8th and have it be wet sump, stock gas tank, 10.5" tire and be totally streetable except for emissions. I think that is do-able but will take a turbo setup and a fat ass solid roller turbo cam.

well I make goals with what I have.

I wanted to break into the 6's with the unported Cobra intake and I did. I was very happy about that.

Next goal is 6.5's with what I have.


But one goal I would like to see, but I don't think it will happen unless BOOM BITCH

Stock short block 302, hyper pistons, AOD, 3.73 gears, Vortech -0 breaking into the 5's :D I know its silly but thats more on the lines of a drem than a goal. ;)
