I second the vote for what Musclestag89 sent you in a PM.. Mike has my trans now and has built a few transmissions for my customers with no troubles...

You know, I talked to Mike yesterday for about 20 minutes,I think hearing what he had to say pretty much sealed the deal, I like the fact that he wants to open up the tranny with me there to show/teach me how everything works and go with upgrades from there. Letting the customer see exactly whats going on with their tranny and explaining everything firsthand is pretty rare, this is exactly the kind of shop I was looking for..
Thanks Again!

Sweet man, hope everything work fine. Keep me informed on how the tranny works out if you do get it from Mike.

yep...Mike done that with my AOD...he even put one together while you watch...
I need to get my AOD installed and bust some asses...:D
I found this cool website that helped me out in building a bulletproof AOD.http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/index.html#
The 4R70W has alot of good parts that you can use in the AOD. For instance, the wide ratio kit that Ford Motorsports sales is just the gears from a 4R70W. Also the output shaft from a 93 Mark 8 is hardened and needs to be used with this gear set.
