I'm wondering if I can borrow them for fitment purposes... doesn't matter if they're worn out.

puss! for fitment they should be similar, they're discontinued anyway I think.

how can a 315/60 be that much wider and taller than a 325/50.

i can see it being a little taller but not 2 inches taller and also wider.

The 315's are about 29.9" tall.
The 325's are about 27.8" tall.

A 275/60/15 is about the same heigth as the 325/50/15.

50 and 60 are ratios related to the width. i can see a 60% of a 315 being alot taller than a 50 % of a 325.

This is true. However, I'm pretty sure that without a sawzall, I won't be able to get the 315's to fit. The 325's are the same height as the tires that I have now, and 1.3" wider. It could happen.
