There are certain portions of every society, every race, and every religion that contain people that we (humans in general) consider to be "low lifes" or "scum." It has become the norm, as well as almost PC (not really, but it seems that way) to lump these people into groups which can be shunned and labeled by their background. People tend to say "n******", "crackers", "towel heads", "wetbacks", etc. This, to me has always shown a great deal of ignorance.

Why must people's ethnicity, relgion, ect. be brought to light when describing their lack of social acceptance? Yes, they may be lazy, they may be milking welfare for all it's worth, but they are not forced to do such things because of their backgrounds. A white person can be just as lazy and useless as a black person, hispanic, asian, middle eastern, and so on.

Everytime I see someone spewing such vulgar and degrading remarks I cringe. And yet, I also feel sorry for them. I feel sorry for the fact that they are so narrow minded that they cannot see past flesh tones and religious symbols. One would think that, at this point in time, after all of the wars (both military as well as civil) that we as a global community have gone through, that we would finally be able to open our minds as well as our hearts and realize that at the end of the day, no matter where you sleep, or who (if) you pray to, we are all human.
