Wed. Night GTG 7pm @ Jason's Deli in Lewisville 03-24-04

Here is where it is taken place:

Jason’s Deli. Every week at 7 p.m. till about 9:00 or so.

Hope to meet some of you newbies and I know we'll see many long-time members out in full force.

Once we are done eating there and all that good stuff we head over to Sonic for a gtg they hold over there.

If you are new coming out to the gtg and don’t know anyone please just walk up and tell us who you are.

Hope to see some of you there.

Please make sure you have a front license plate and all you tags are up to date. The cops are looking for a reason to pull you over when you leave. But they are going more for the ricers and truck's. Just an FYI


Directions

If you are on 121 and keep heading west after you cross under 35 you will keep going straight and there will be a exit for Round Grove on your right. Take the exit and then a left at the light. Once you are on Round Grove Rd go down to Mac Arthur, Make a Right onto Mac Arthur and Jason’s Deli will be on your left hand side.

If you are on 35 exit Round Grove depending which direction you are coming from turn on Round Grove toward Vista Ridge Mall. It will be the opposite side of 35 from the Super Target. Stay on Round Grove to Mac Arthur. Make a Left onto Mac Arthur and Jason’s Deli will be on your left hand side.

If you are coming from Plano and don't really know your way around you can get on Park and stay on that all the way to Lewisville. Park runs all the way into Flower Mound. While you are on Park it will turn into Hebron in Carrolton and then into Round Grove in Lewisville. Stay on Round Grove Rd go down to Mac Arthur, Make a Right onto Mac Arthur and Jason’s Deli will be on your left hand side

There is a place down the street called Moe's that would be willing to let us hang out. A few of my friends hang out there instead of Sonic to stay away from the drama. Good prices, and ive been told its good food.

Just found out, its somewhat like a chipolte, except they have a few more choices. It is right next to a Target, so parking shouldnt be an issue.

I may check it out this week and see what the deal is, but there are some cool people usually there.

Sounds like you have a nice car. The guys that go up there aren't ricers. They are far from it actually. True, they do drive imports, but they make fun of altezza's and fart cans, just as much as we do. They are from Dallasimports.net, a new site that started up about 5 months ago.

Cool the more out there the better. When you get to the Sonic parking lot we are in the one that is closest to the Bank of America.

If you come out to Jason's Deli we all usually head over to Sonic about 9 or just before.

Yeah, when I got there, the parking lot that we normally park in was empty except for a bunch of cop cars, so I parked and asked a cop " Can we not park here anymore?" and he said "yeah, but this is the last time, next week we will be giving out tickets for Criminal Trespassing" They were standing in the street part of the inlet, just stopping one car after another writing tickets and running every plate! The cop told me that last week they found some knife's out there along with a pistol, and some kid went to the hospital after getting into a fight last week...

I dunno, the lot over there is kinda small isnt it? We might wanna talk to the business owners first also. They undobutably have heard about or seen the G2G up at sonic and the trouble it causes. They will also inevitably notice that the Sonic G2G has disbanded. When people start to gather at their parking lot, i can only imagine what they are thinking. I think it would be best to assure them that we aren't the ones causing trouble, we're just the victims of stupidity.

The parking lot last night was way too small. If we found something a little bigger then that (room for 30 or 40 cars) it would work out great. Anything bigger then that would attract too much unwanted attention from ricers and the police.

Chris, there's plenty of parking. Maybe not right by the building but out in the center more. I agree we need to talk to the manager of one or more businesses. Give them a contact name, etc.. Just out of good faith. Maybe park specifically in a certain area (as we did at Sonic) so we can distinguish ourselves as the "good guys". :cool:

There's also far more choices of food, snacks, and drinks than the Sonic lot offered. I'd go there every week just for the variety. :cool:

You have Moe's, Pei Wei, MooMoo's ice cream, Starbucks, and a gas station right across the street. Plus the Saleen guy on the board said he owns the tile place right next door to Moe's.

thats a good idea, so that if they have any concerns, they can contact us directly. I guess the lot just seemed small because we were back in the corner of it behind the buildings. That shopping center does have quite a bit to offer. Depending on what time we get there, A&W, Taco Bell, KFC and Long John's are right down at the end of the row. I guess we just have to find the best place to park (if we decide to use that lot) that has good lighting but wont attract TOO much attention and chat with the owner of the business(es) that are near where we would like to gather and clear it with them.

Sonic was fun, but its no big loss. I enjoyed last night, i could at least hear people talking. At sonic, it took concentration to put together lip reading and piecing fragments of words together that i could hear over the crappy systems, loud exhaust, burnouts and shouting. Seemed more relaxed last night and much more enjoyable.

like i said i own the carter floors and countertops store just on the other side of pawi's and as i speak the construction is going to be done by monday or tuesday and we close at 7 pm everynight ive counted some parking just around my store which is hiden at the corner so yall wont draw that much attention and theres atleast 40 or more parkings around my store but i wont tolerate trash or bottle broken around my store or burnout markings around it either do that infront of target or something but it would be cool if it were closer to work though if everyything stayed cool and no bullshit kid stuff either let me know if yall are interested

You cant expect that from us. When the sonic G2G was still going on, you should have seen the difference in the lots. the side of the lot we were on was virtually perfect and the side with all the high school kids and ricers was completely trashed
