So the weather is nice and it's time for another get together. when and where are the questions. Need input from you guys, I do think we need to reserve a section where ever we go so we don't have to deal with a long wait time. :D

Hey i will be coming up to Wichita Falls in the next week or 2 to pick up my new (to me) 89 Mustang GT

So how does lunch on Saturday the 27th at McBride's steakhouse on Maplewood sound? Also, that Parking lot is always crowded, so TURBOTOD if you're out there can you hook us up with parking next-door at TSC??? I need to get an accurate head-count so I can reserve a table. Let me know if your coming and include spouses or friends.

Yes,Yes and Yes LOL, theres nothing at all wrong with he car. You are buying it from a freind of mine and he bought it from a guy on this board, HPF89X The car was well taken care of by both off the previous owners. Darren told me 2 days ago that he had sold the car to a guy from the metroplex, I just thought it was kinda funny you popped up in this thread.
If you wanna know anymore history about the car PM HPF89X His name is Jason and Im sure he wouldn't mind telling you anything you wanted to know. And feel free to PM me also, I will tell you anything I know about it, but I can tell you when Darren had it it was washed waxed and pampered like it was his child LOL.

LOL Wow thats good to hear, you had me worried for a sec there! I would love to know anything you know about the car. For example, he said is has a H pipe, is it off road? and He also showed me that the crank pulley was replaced with another one (underdrive pulleys?) but why is there only the crank? I will have to PM that other guy. And thanx. I dont know if i will be able to make that Get Together, cause i am waiting on the money from the bank. They told me i would recieve a check 7-10 days from application of the loan, which was on Tues or Wed. depending on business days.

Parking shouldn't be a problem so long as you park out as far as you can. Taking up the parking at the front of the store would be uncool.

People use our lot all the time for Pioneer and McBride's..

I know a little about the car also, this titanium blue one right? I was thinking about buying it from jason but decided against it because it was a little early for buying something. Interior looks great, might need a new paintjob because the front has some chipping. Runs good, sounds good, it had a lot more mods on it when jason had it but him and turbotodd(other guy on the forum) took them off before he sold it to the guy you bought it from.

Before it went back to basically stock, it had the Holley H/C/I package (Systemax) thrown at it..

I love the way it looks. What is a H/C/I ? I am new to pushrod setups. I cant wait to pick it up, i sold my 98 Cobra to my Dad so i dont have a car right now. I am learning about pushrods now coming from a Modular car. That pic looks pretty!

Nobody really knows what it was, high winds or a tornado. Im leaning towards a small tornado. The damage was isolated to certain parts of town. I live about 3 miles east of those houses and I didn't get any damage at all. My backyard fence is still standing ( just barely) and it was blown down in the last storm we had and is being held in place by wire. , ya I know, havn't had time to fix it right.

April 10th 1979, terrible tuesday. A mile wide F4 tornado that fugged this town up. Those houses where built after the 79 tornado. Lotta peps still get jumpy when storm clouds roll in here.

Which one ? LOL, both are running well. The coupe is running better and better. Just need more traction and some more tuning of the engine.

What did I forget , Mr catfish pilot? :confused: The GT ran a 11.3 @ 82 4.6 60ft. (rolled out of the lights) It "shoulda" run a high 8.But I did hit all my gears LOL

Ya, I know. The GT has all but been forgotten now that it's back to my daily driver.The coupe's MPH is good (111.) I just need a better prepped track and a better 60ft and it will be moving pretty well.
