Ok this is my best @ Redline but I was wondering if anybody could look at it and tell me if this looks like it was a good clean pass or if it looks like my et should have been faster. The reason I ask is b/c da man' who tuned my car says we should be running alot faster and suggested my clutch may be slipping. I know nothing about 330 et so I was just curious.
1.244 - reaction- taking my time!
1.4879 - 60'
4.1984 -330'
6.4994 - 1/8 mile
106.03- 1/8 mile mph
He says I should be running 112 -114 in the 1/8 and so my mph is way off! Any ideas would be helpful.
*we have changed up the rear suspension for hopefully lower 60's.

is the car naturally aspirated or does it have a power adder

i would think with turbo on it, it would trap higher, my car traps 103 on motor...

Your MPH and ET are about where they should be considering your 60' and 330' times. I would think if your clutch was slipping, your MPH would suffer at the big end-but a 6.49/106 is a fairly common number.....Has it trapped more MPH in the past or is this a new motor combo with an existing clutch? It's pretty hard to say without some baseline numbers to go by. From your 330' time, I'd say if it is slipping, it's not slipping alot.....Do you have any RWHP #'s?? This, combined with the weight of the car (with you in it) can be pretty accurate for predicting ET on a 5 speed car. Autos w/ big stalls are another story....

Thats exactly what I am thinking as well....I have been told I should be trapping 112-114 by a very respectable source. He says he guarentees my clutch is slipping. I just wanted to see if anyone could tell by thetimeslip but it may be hard to do w/ an 1/8 mile timeslip.

What is the weight of the car? My 3400lb car turbo car trapped 104 but I only managed a 1.55 60' on average, with an E.T of 6.80 on average. Better 60' and I would have been right there in the low 6.50s or better.
I was probably making right around 600rwp with the race tune.
Any idea what power you are making? It doesn't seem that far off to me really........ what is your boost doing at the top end of the track? Is it falling off at all? What gear are you running out back?

If it's running a lot of boost, you have a problem!!! Your timeslip's ET and MPH are right. How much boost is that?? Your 60 ft is excellent if your clutch is slipping!!!

This pass as well as all of them were made on ET streets. The car weighs 3450 w/ driver w/ full int. and 1/2 tank of fuel. We put down 670rwhp on the dyno w/ Job Jr. tuning the car.
Max boost is anywhere between 20-22 psi. I am running 3:50's in the 9" out back.
Thanks for all the feedback but I think am just down on hp then from what I was at before. We are running a diff. tune on the car and I think im losing alot of power but I didn't know for 100% since we haven't had it on the dyno since.

If it really makes that much power now.. I'd say that it is waaaay off.. It should trap in the 114 range... I have gone 7.1x@102 with a 5 speed and 1.50 60ft... and only about 525rwhp..if that..check that clutch !!! (or the tune up)
I would say your mph is a little off for the ET.

I would list to job and check the clutch.

Nice times...got any pics of your engine bay?

The clutch is a mcleod street twin I believe. Its got removeable counterweights and I have 13 adjusters in which I can set the base. I think I have the base set at 1110-1240# right now which setting 7 or 8.
I believe now that it is the tune. We had a new one made but it hasn't been on the dyno so that is what is has to be.
Here is a very shitty pic of the engine bay....Maybe this weekend at redline someone can take some pics of the car since i have no dig. camera.

Wow! how long have you been running 20 psi on them? I have heard these turbos have a tendency to tear themselves up at that psi. Just a fair warning. If you want more info on that then PM me and ill give you the scoop.
When I first saw your times I thought those look pretty good to me! But then when I saw you were pushing 20 psi (and 670psi), something definitely seems off.
If I can run those numbers with a 5speed and something under 14# of boost ill be pretty happy:) Gives me hope.
