whats the best wax to get out swirl marks out of my black paint

i have alot little swirl marks and would a body shop be able to make my paint job like new if they buff it

Give Zaino a try, you will see a difference. Its not a wax its a polish. You will find out that the wax is causing your problems.

Meguiars Swirl Mark Remover, then Show Car #7, and then Meguiars Wax (carnuba) can't remember the number off the top of my head. They come in Tan bottles. I bought all of mine at English Color and O'riley's. If you can't find Swirl Mark Remover then you can get it from Meguiars website.

depending how bad the swirls are try Zaino, use Z2 and then Z5 to fill in the swirls. The more you put on the better it will look. If he needs a lot of work, I recomend 3M swirl remover with a high speed buffer then Zaino.

ya if the swirls are plenty, then Zaino most likely wont have any effect on taking out the swirls... Like stated above, 3M SWM will get the swirls out as well as the Meguiars.

I have them on my brand new car ( ijust noticed the swirls a few weeks ago) right when i did i used that meguiars and it didnt do a thing. Made my car shiny... but i wouldnt recommend it personally. It did work a lil bit better on my old dark green car when it had swirls. But i think ill try the 3M and a buffer.

DeWalt #DW849. It's a rotary buffer but it's the only way to go. Those random orbital units dont cut it. The DeWalt will set you back about 250 to 300 but it's the last one you will ever buy.

And if you don't know what you are doing with it you'll burn your clearcoat! If you're new at buffing, get the cheaper Ryobi car buffer, does a decent job nad doesn't spin fast enough to burn your clearcoat.

Another vote for Zaino too.

you have to work a spot pretty good with a foam pad and 3M swirl remover to burn the clear coat, Ive never burned through any. If the paint is bad and you start with 3M fine cut be extra careful

You used their commerical stuff. Its not compareable to 3M. The stuff I was talking about is in a tan bottle and is professional grade.

No, Meguiers has 2 lines. The black bottle is there regular stuff. The tan bottle is their top end pro line. But 3M beats them both if your applying with a high speed buffer.

I use a high speed buffer with a foam (egg crate looking) pad. I use 3M Finesse-It for the medium. I get it at English color. It works great. I follow that up with a swirl free polish. I have alao used Mequiers fine cut cleaner and swirl removers. They work good as well. No matter what you use be sure to follow the directions as some are only made for high speed buffers. If you use one of those with a low speed or orbital buffer you will add more marks to the paint. A high speed buffer/ pad makes a little heat which further breaks down the compound to remove scratches like the compound was designed to do. If you use a slow or orbital buffer the compound will not break down as well. I have never had a any problem with using a high speed buffer but I have some people really screw up a car.
