The Bible Code

Is anybody familar with it? I saw a history channel special on it and it seemed somewhat convincing on how it has hidden proficies in it. Then again, the otherside that said it is fake seems convincing as well by suggesting that people can pick and choose certain words that link to an event and it's just a coincidence. Just wanted to hear some other views of why or why you don't believe it. :)

I still am not sure about the whole thing. It seems a little fishy since they can take any word that they want and find it somewhere in the bible. It is very interesting nontheless.

Fishy would be an understatement Randy!

I wish people would slow down on the "hidden" things and get back to the basics of praying, repenting, fasting, an dsoul winning. Hidden prophecies will not save America - we need a moving of God.

If they actually prophicied anything it would be believable. But all these so called prophecies happen after the fact.

If you've read my thread about end times then you remember the year 2012. Interestingly enough on that show on the history channel they found, in some chapter(cant recall which), on side by side pages three words. At the moment I can only remember two of them for sure. One was asteroid, one was 2012, and I believe the third was armaggedon :eek:

i remember that segment on the history channel to:eek: thats where i found out about the bible code. it got me thinking, i hope the 2012 doesn't come true. i'll be praying like crazy that year.:)

Basically these guys are entering the original text in the original language into a computer. The computer does some sort of crossword puzzle manipulation to find words and phrases that make sense.

And there is no rhyme or reason to what they do. They just keep trying different combinations until something comes up.
