We finally got the coupe going, with no more problems.....for now, anyways. ;) The carb was wayyy too fat, so we took it out on a good ol' service road tuning session. Changed some jets, put in a power valve block-off, changed the squirters, and Holy Crap, it's a completely different car ! I thought it ran good before we tuned it right.....man was I wrong !! There is a difference between running, and running right. It's pretty damn close to being right now, other than we just need to change the squirters again....it still has a very slight stumble down low. All in all, I am VERY happy with how the car turned out for the money have in it, and can't wait to get it to the track on some stickies !!! ;) I just gotta find some 5 lug wheels I can mount some ET Streets on.

Me too ! While I was out putting some miles on it yesterday going down Texoma Parkway, a couple of ricers were in front of me at a stop light. When the light changed green, they just sat there talking to each other, so I threw them a couple of revs to get them jump-started and they looked back at me like I was crazy.....then the kid in the Eclipse attempted to race me. We'll just say I ended that VERY quickly.....by the end of first gear, and a couple bus lengths later. ;)
On a side note, I took my car to the scrap yard by my dad's shop and drove it across the scales....I couldn't believe my ears when the guy told me it weighed 2900 without me in it !!
