Bill those are bad ass wheels... Those are the Welded R/Ts, I was going to go with the Bolted R/Ts, but everyone I talked to said that street driving on them would be a joke. I am not into the whole drive to the track and swap tires out crap, besides, I would have no room to put them in my car... "IF" you plan to drive to the track, the rears will probably be fine, but the fronts, be damn sure careful you don't hit any pot holes, or large dips/bumps in the road, or bye bye $250 bucks!:(

I think I'm going 15's all around.
15X3 1/2 in the front and 15X10 in da rear with Hoosier racing tires all around.
I think it would look a bit funny running 17s in the front and 15s in the rear and no selection for a good 17 front runner in drag tire or street tire.
All I have to do to the rears for then to clear is to grind a bit on that square ass banjo fitting.
The front wheel will come with the proper space already WELDED on to the wheeel to clear my brakes and MAYBE I may have to drill out my rotors and put in longer studs.
For the time being these will be my strip only wheels due to the tire selection and maybe for the show.

That's the reason I got rid of my D-10's.

thats cool. I was looking to switch wheels on my 89 and was thinking about going with pro stars. But I really like those and they would look pretty good on my car IMO. Just wondering how muchg do those run if you know? Are you going through Lane to get those?

I'm working with Lane on these..........no firm prices yet........roughly $356 for the 15X10s and $242 for the 15X3 1/2s with custom spacer.......prolly a little less..........Bogart is REALLY proud of their stuff!

I paid $335 for my backs and $225 for the fronts, so the prices are fairly close to my A-Stars... I was told that my A-Stars are way too soft to drive on the street as well, but MUCH more durable than the Bogarts... I haven't had a problem yet, but I only have about 200 miles on my skinnies, and about 400 on the 15x10s. So far no bends...:D
Brandon get the Bolted R/Ts... they look MUCH better...

WOW:eek: , I guess I won't be putting any wheels on the truck if I want these. Damn it looks like I better start saving alittle. ;) Also I could sell the draglites and get alittle money back, I also have a set of pro stars front runners on it now that I could sell :D

How much?;) I was thinking bout buying a set for the street, and keeping my A-Stars for track/show only...

yep its 5 lug. I have no idea how much I would sell them for. But first thing is first I would have to get some new wheels:D Heck it can be on jackstands for awile, we just about got it going. I need some wheels on it to take it to the track to tune it there.
But if I do decide to sell them I'll let you know.;) You need to get your tranny fix and we need to run them, once my car is tuned. I sure hope this 8inch crank pulley can spin that belt fast enough to get me some nice lower times ;)

I will be pulling the tranny out probably next weekend, I have to get my dad's motor out of his car and send the chassis to the body shop for paint, once it is gone, I will have the entire garage to myself to pull the tranny, and fix it.:) I think it has some 6.60s in it on the good gas, so we should be pretty close.:D

thanks man, and I'll let you know when I do decide to switch wheels
well I'm only shooting for 6.7's, any faster thats just a bonus. If I said I was shooting for a lower e.t and didn't get I wouldn't be happy. But I think I can hit my goals with the new mods that were done and never know maybe even faster. But like I said thats just a bonus

OH YEA!!!!!!!
That looks sweet!!!
Damn! If my front drops that much, I'll have to get longer ramps or take off my chin spoiler.
That will look totally bitchin' on my MACH!!!!
Lane better hurry his but up.
Jerry have you called Lane's Wholesale in irving?
Jerry
03-11-2004, 12:34 AM
Nope, haven't called Lane, he's next on the list. Those wheels would look sick on any Mustang :) Bogart is SUPPOSED to come out with a "Street" wheel in the P1 series but so far it hasn't worked yet, they can't find a barrel that they like. When they do come out with the "Street" P1 series, they will wiegh a few pounds more and cost about $30-45 less than the race version. I don't think I'm waiting for the street version since its vapor-ware today.

FYI: Got my Bogarts, not from anyone on here BTW, but from a shop that had a set on the shelf for an 03' Cobra.. mounted the tires and then found out 2 were out of round, and 1 had a small dent on the backside as if it had been dropped on the lip. The dent was insignificant from a performance standpoint. The out of round crap sucks though.. all 4 wheels have a spacer welded on the back and apparently thats not on square..??
Sent back to Ricky Bogart, will get their Thursday, we'll see what he says.
I wish Bogart made an XP front in 15x3.5!!

Well that really sucks Jerry! Thanks for the heads up! We will check before putting tires on.
I wonder with the spacers already welded, like mine will be, if these wheels are hub consentric(sp?) or line up by studs?

I'm sure they're 'lug-centric' Bill. And we'll check the wheels before we mount the tires. :)
