what is the difference between a 99-04 v6 and gt other than the motor and transmission? do they have the same rearend, suspension, and so on? anything and everything that you know is different on these 2 models.... post up. thanks for you help guys

i dont think the v6 cars have posi trac. bout all i know

Yes, they have the same suspension and rear end. From what I know about them they are the exact same car, just different motor and tranny like you said.

A buddy of mine recently had Slims Mustang Performance do the swap. His car is a 2001 v6 and had a 2001 gt engine/computer/5-speed trans installed and it turned out sweet except for the rear end, it is a 7.5" rear with the one leg peel. Upgrading his rear is next on his list
