Chris Little had a nitrous pop about halftrack. Sounds like he had that second stage hooked up this weekend. Although, he probably didn't need it.

Too bad Billy Glidden was in the other lane.....lol
Travis had a hell of a weekend though. That new found power had him guessing on the tune. All three qualifiyers, he just blew through the tires. Then, in the first round, he finally got a handle on it and went 4.74 @ 157 to the eighth, then about 900 feet the blower belt let go and did a number on some electronics, after that, the car developed a gremlin that he couldn't find!

I can't wait to see the KOTH guys run on W tires, should be exciting:) I think it will slow down the class considerably for a while until everyone gets their cars dialed in. That and it's going to be really hard to win with a powerglide now.

thanks Andrew. And also to all of ya'll. I wish i could have won. I just beat myself. I got a good tree and a better sixty foot than i had all day through the rounds. so that's were the 11.55 came instead of 11.65. it was all in the sixty foot. But i also didn't get on the brakes fast enough. I just beat myself.
But Robert hindman is pretty badass anyway. If you don't run a perfect race he will make pay for it. Anyway it was fun and the car ran awesome.
also the HP 2v ran a new best
it ran n/a 2v
1/4. 11.47@115.75
1/8. 7.1@93
60ft 1.41.
again thanks alot guys
p.s I know the car as alot more in it:D

A lot of guys are probably going to go back to a 3 speed because the W tire is going to let them leave harder. At least that is what I was thinking....

Sorry, I didn't realize we were playing semantics.
In that case, every LS1 is faster than a cam only SOHC! :D

How will it let them leave harder? For many of them, they are going to a smaller tire, it used to be an unlimited tire class, now they are going down in size to W's.

With the amount of power the cars are making you need the adjustability of a clutch to put the power down. Hardly any of the fast cars had glides anyways though.
