Call me Mr. Consistency though!
All my ETs were with in .04 span from high to low.............but I never got my 7!
I thought it was my tune with the two step that somehow was slowing me down, so I went back to the tune that I had last Sat afternoon when I got my 1.68 60ft with a 8.122@ 84.68mph.
Nope! Not good enough!
The only difference in the car was that I had a FULL tank of gas on Sat and I only had a 1/4 tank tonight. Could that be part of the problem? Could this present setup just like that weight back there in the back?
The best I could muster tonight was 8.331 @ 83.66 with a 1.802 60ft........with a RT of .037 though! :D
Ideas?

SSMAN told me that on the first launch the car really tweaked over at the first of the launch and naturally shocks, arms and better subframes will help, but I guess this car likes ass end weight in it current configuration. I have to look at my logs that I keep to make sure if this is a trend.
One think ya can say about ET Streets.........you can be VERY consistant at this power level!:D

Im gonna try the ET streets when the DR's ware out. Only way to see witch one you like is to try both. Looks like in that pic had you had skinnies you would have pulled them off the ground!!!

Bill what is going on with that car I know you should have been in the 7's already... now it's going to be a little while before my car is going to be ready for the track again, but if I kick off a 7 before you, there is something very wrong going on here. What where you launching at this time out to only get a 1.8 60'.. Those 1.6's from last week looked pretty damn good.

I guess the track had SOME to do with it. Last Sat. most all were out the were ProMod type cars and the Jr Dragsters(Love watching thos kids!) and only a pair of ricers! So the track was in a much better condition. SSMAN did say that I spun slightly on one of the runs, but I really think the issue of less gas was the biggest factor. I even lowered the tire pressure to 11.5 on the last run!
At least I know that it wasn't my two-step screwing with me, as I ran pretty much the same with my Sat tune on the last run. It was a worthwhile night overall.

I don't know how many launches you have on the car yet but your clutch might be going.....Mine did not last long launching at 6000 on ET streets. Track prep also has alot to do with it but good times none the less.
Lose some weight and that car is solidly in the 7's. Mine with much less power pulled 8.2's but I was probably 400lbs lighter.
Good Job!

Good pic, love those Mach's! Your MPH is a bit low for 7's. If it isn't spinning the solution is more power! Nice ride.

I still need to weigh the pig, but with the min mods I have with over 300rwhp and over 320broad tq curve........I should get into the 7s......it's my suspension that's holding me back...........maybe the clutch also.........I do have over 14,000 miles and a BUNCK of launches!

Not yet...........I guess I'll wait til I go to a FFW event......maybe Houston.
Ennis is usually too much of a toss up on track prep and is so friggin far for me to drive to take that chance..............but I guess with ET Streets, track prep isn't as critical as it was with the friggin Nittos.
Look Bill - if you're going to be a customer of ours, we need to see some 7's...

Any word on my SLP tips?
Oh BTY..........Weld XP 15x9 will fit on a MACH rear with VERY minimum banjo fitting grinding! What size ET Drag would fit that wheel?

Could possibly be to lower traction without the extra rear weight. Nice runs anyways though.
I'm hoping to cut into the 7's with my new setup, well see.
