Can you go from 7.53 to 6.53 on 150hp of NOS,has anyone ever got close?

With my 87 GT at 3000#'s race wieght it took 250 hp of nitrous to go from 7.3's to 6.4's @105 to106mph 1.42 60ft!

Yes, not on my car but a friends went from 7.50's to 6.30's on a 250 shot!

So, a 12 mph difference? I guess it would depend on the race weight. I only gained about 6 mph on a 100 shot. So, a 150 shot would have only been about 9 mph or so. But my car weighed +3400 lbs.

Bracket season is starting next weekend, I will be too busy to drive all the way to Denton. Plus, I dont blame you for not wanting to come to the East Side's home track to get out ran.:p

They are way off. I hope to be in the loooooooowwwwwwww .30's and high .20's the next time out! I have room to grow, hands down!

A 12mph gain in the 1/8 is a bit much to be construed as a "150hp" shot.. The mph gain alone is prolly closer to what you'd gain in the 1/4 on a 150 shot.

I'd guess that's more along the lines of what a 175rwhp shot would do.

But, I'm talking what kinda of impact rwhp gains have on my car. And my car's a pig. Only talking from personal experience here..

I picked up .5 and 6 mph on 100 dry shot. Car weighed 3450lbs.

7.42@91.5 to 6.92@97.6

If I remember correctly, Kris 's old motor went from 7.9 to 6.6 on a plate pilled to 175.

Not gonna happen, Reid. (On a "true" 150 shot anyway). You'll be lucky to see .6 seconds. On my old combo and a homemade 200 dry shot (150 shot and supplementary 50 shot), my car would got from low 7.40's on motor to high 6.40's-6.55, but did pick up 13 mph, (from 92 to 105)until I cracked the main webs!!... Better pill up for those mid 6's!!!:(
