i have a solid copper quarter from the 70s it was a mess up how much you think its worth

I'm not a professional numismatist, it's more of a hobby. I can't offer an intelligent opinion as to the value. You may try a few coin collecting books. It seems like many of the "errors" have more of a curiousity value than an intrinsic one.

I'd be interested in it as a curiousity, so if you find a value and want to sell it, let me know what you're asking.

my grandfather has a lot of coins that might before sale...he has a lot of 1800 coins and a lot of proof sets, some foreign coins also.
