NTFS is faster than FAT32. You cant convert back, but you can format and reinstall.

id stick with ntfs, much more stable than fat32... unless you ahve a reason that you need fat32.
But only way to go back is to format.

I have tried to reformat and it will not work, its like ntfs puts a boot record or something hidden that formating or fdisk
cannot remove. Oh well

how are you reformatting? Is this your OS drive? or is it a second drive?

if you did an fdisk and recreated the partition it should be fine.

ntfs is a file system, not a boot record, two totally different things.
