I had a very good day. The weather was perfect. Every pass was better then my previous best. I also got better MPH's than I have ever gotten. My car was running really good. I hope everyone else had as good of a day that I did....but I know a few that didn't.

Nice! Congrats on the new best.
I would be the one that had a bad day. Ohh well, atleast it went down the track.
The best I could get out of my car was a 8.0. I was short shifting, and I dont think that helped, I didnt have any pills for my shift light, and the tach was glared by the sun. Ohh well next time. I am getting a new intake next week, and after that I will get it back on the dyno, and get everything squared away.
My 60's were not that great, but I think the tunning will fix that.
4.30's are great though. Throwing gears, and let em rip. :D I did have to hit 4th though due to the short shifting.

Damn Justin, you must have been driving the piss out of it!!!
Comparing your 330' times to mine you are .04 s, better with a crappy 60'. I guess there was alot left in mine that I never found.
Congrats!!! Nice MPH too....sure you didn't have a tail wind.
BEEJ, I didn't realize you already got the 4.30's. How does it feel on the street?

Those are some bitchin' times man. What setup of wheels were you running out there? Is Ennis's track anything as good as Denton's? I'll be running out there this coming Sept.

Marcus,
Shit man I could only wish that we had some of that pimpin' weather down here. Best it's ever gotten down here was -700 DA and my car was down at the time. You all need to try and come down here to race in our 2000' DA. Blows some fucking ass when trying to get new bests.

Thank everyone for the compliments. The mods I have on my car are as follows:
K&N
70mm TB
Pullies
T/A set at 14 degrees
Intake Spacer
O/r H pipe
MAC catback
Steeda Shifter
3.73's
Moser 28 spline
At the track yesterday I was running on Weld Prostars, 3.5 inch skinnies up front and 26.0/8.5-15 M/T ET Drags on the back. I was really hoping to get a 1.6 60' but maybe I can get it next time.

not that it matters but i thought you decided to get ET drags?
justin is showing what is possible with a bolton 99+ GT with weight reduction, good weather, and good driving. :)

marcus 1.73's to 1.79's.
I was cutting shitty 60's makes me wonder if I need a 10'' slick now.
I do want to get everything else squared away first. Maybe I will buy your upper control arms. then we will look into different slicks

You are right....my bad....I wasn't thinking....I do have ET Drags. I have edited my last post.
Thanks Marcus I really appreciate the compliment. I think I am going to get the C&L upper intake and see if I can shave a little more off that time.

I listed all the mods on my car a little earlier in the thread. I was launching at 5000~5200. I may try to go a little higher next time I'm out at the track in hopes of getting a 1.6 60'. Those are some badass times for your car and what you have in it. Get a couple more boltons and you will be well in the 7's.

Justin, you are launching like a pussy!!! 6000+ or stop wasting your time.:D The diff won't break till 6400.....trust me!!! At 6000 the input shaft starts hating you and throw out bearings live short lives.......but that is about it! Follow that simple rule, 12 lbs of air in the slicks when hot, and you will be on your way to 1.66's all day long.
